# Guardian, Patch & Chain

Understand the planned roles of SHELLZERO X's security agents for defense, remediation, and Web3 monitoring.

***

### Overview

SHELLZERO X is developing specialized security agents to expand its capabilities beyond scanning and vulnerability intelligence.

Guardian, Patch, and Chain are designed around three areas: defensive configuration, remediation guidance, and Web3 security monitoring. These agents are currently in development and should not be treated as generally available features.

### Guardian: Defense Preparation

Guardian is intended to support defensive security operations by preparing firewall and Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules for review and approval.

#### Intended Capabilities

* Prepare defensive rules based on identified security concerns.
* Support the review of proposed firewall and WAF configurations.
* Help users evaluate potential defensive measures before implementation.

#### Intended Workflow

1. Identify a security concern that may require a defensive rule.
2. Prepare a proposed configuration.
3. Review the proposed rule for accuracy and operational impact.
4. Approve and apply the change through the appropriate authorized process.
5. Verify that the rule behaves as intended.

Guardian's planned role does not imply that it currently deploys firewall rules or automatically blocks attacks.

### Patch: Remediation Guidance

Patch is intended to assist with correcting security weaknesses by preparing remediation steps and configuration examples.

#### Intended Capabilities

* Provide guidance for addressing identified issues.
* Prepare example configuration changes.
* Support a more structured remediation process.

#### Intended Workflow

1. Identify and verify the underlying issue.
2. Determine an appropriate corrective action.
3. Review the proposed instructions against the affected environment.
4. Test changes where possible.
5. Apply the approved correction and verify the result.

Patch is intended to support remediation decisions, not replace technical review or guarantee that a proposed fix is appropriate for every environment.

### Chain: Web3 Security Monitoring

Chain is intended to extend SHELLZERO X's security focus toward blockchain-related environments.

Its planned scope includes smart contract security monitoring and wallet activity alerts.

#### Intended Focus Areas

* Smart contract security monitoring.
* Monitoring relevant blockchain activity.
* Wallet-related activity alerts.
* Supporting investigation of potentially suspicious events.

The precise supported blockchain networks, alert criteria, integrations, and monitoring capabilities should be documented once confirmed and available.

### Agent Comparison

| Agent    | Primary Focus                     | Intended Outcome                                            |
| -------- | --------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| Guardian | Firewall and WAF rule preparation | Support defensive configuration review |
| Patch | Remediation guidance | Support corrective action |
| Chain | Web3 security monitoring | Support visibility into blockchain and wallet-related risks |

### Availability Status

These three agents are in development according to the published platform information. Their descriptions represent intended roles rather than confirmation of currently available functionality.

Users should rely on the live platform interface and official announcements for updates on availability.

### Security Considerations

* Review proposed defensive rules before applying them.
* Test configuration changes to reduce the risk of disrupting legitimate traffic.
* Verify remediation instructions against the affected system.
* Treat blockchain monitoring alerts as indicators requiring investigation, not automatic proof of malicious activity.
* Do not assume that planned agents currently execute defensive actions or monitor every supported environment.

The purpose of these agents is to extend SHELLZERO X toward more comprehensive security workflows as their capabilities become available.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://shellzerox.gitbook.io/docs/security-agents/guardian-patch-and-chain.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
